Mens Retreat 2007

Hi guys we had a awesome men's retreat this year, and
i believe the lord has confirmed many things in our
hearts, for many of you that know us and know the
ministry of Mission4him, our ministry Scripture has
been in 1 sam 14:6
Jonathan said to his young armor-bearer, "Come, let's
go over to the outpost of those uncircumcised fellows.
Perhaps the LORD will act in our behalf. Nothing can
hinder the LORD from saving, whether by many or by
few."

I am so grateful for his mercy and the privilege to
serve him in his ministry and i cant help but to
remember where he has brought me from, guys my prayer
is that we will never forget where the Lord has saved
us from,
In Matt 5:13 it says

You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses
its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is
no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out
and trampled by men

I read that pure salt is crystal clear transparent and
i can help but to think that how we need to be
transparent, and if we forget where we come from its
like we lose the saltiness and we will become
infective and people Begin to trample the testimony of
Christ in our lives,
But salt preservers and give flavor, when we are
sincere and transparent it ads that flavor of truth
and enables us to identify with the Lost

I can help but to think that the lost are just friends
i haven't found yet

I Love you Guys in Christ and just want to say Thanks
and may the Lord Bless you

2 Corinthians 3 (New International Version)

12- Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold.

13- We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to keep the Israelites from gazing at it while the radiance was fading away.

14- But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away.

15- Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts.

16- But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.

17- Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

18- And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

Hi Guys, Our GOD is so awesome just think how Moses must of felt how he though he had to hide his face from the people, it reminds me of last night lion tamers meeting how some of the guys felt like they started off good that morning but by the end of the day they didn't even feel like they even save! been there before done that, but GOD WORD is so awesome in verse 16 is says

But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away

I cant help but to think of GODS Mercy how he has made a way though his Son Jesus Christ, so i can just be transparent before him,

what blows me away is that when we come to him with a transparent and unveiled heart he give us the privilege of reflecting his glory

verse 18- And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory,

and the more we are transparent and unveiled with him the more we are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.(Gal 5:16)

the King James version says we changed into the same image from glory to glory, that is the Lords image and Evey time my day try's to predict its outcome we can silence it with these verses

The Lord Bless you your day

Mission4Him

Mission4Him
Good morning, hope you guys are all doing well! It seems were getting the hang of this blogger stuff and hope some one would join me and make this more interesting, technology is so cool its a way we can reachout to people we would never have a chance to so my hope is that you stumble across mission4him and be encouraged to reach out to souls for Jesus Christ or just be drawn closer to the Lord it says in Heb 7:25 Wherefore also he is able to save to the uttermost them that draw near unto God through him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. You see as we grow in the lord our desire should grow to see souls saved, this desire becomes so strong at times that some people call this a burden for souls,
Jesus said in Matt 11:28-30
[28] Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
[29] Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
[30] For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
you see this desire is all about prospective its all about how you see thing around you,
Jesus said in John 6:44
[44] No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day
so we see that God the father draws people to Christ, that means it his work not mine, so many time Christian like myself want to see our loved ones and friends saved that we forget who is the author and finisher of our faith, Heb 5:9 says And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; I'm sure glad its not my job to make people obey him it says in Romans 2:4 ----- knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? You see when people get a real taste of the Lord Jesus Christ they cant help but to say he is GOOD, what a beautiful thing to know that it is Gods job to draw people to himself all we need to do is serve his tables with a clear concise messages of the gospel
my encouagement for us today is that we serve at the tables of the Lord Jesus Christ with Liberty knowing who is the author and finisher of our faith

Hebew 12:2-4
[2] Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
[3] For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
[4] Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.
